Boy Talkin': Jesse McCartney

Hey Guys,

I think I need a bib!

Check them out here and here!

Past, Present and Future: And the count down begins!

Hey Guys,

So there's only two weeks left until my big birthday bash! After a very quick dash to get the thing organised, its finally all in place, people are receiving their invites all over New Zealand, and I'm getting RSVP's from everyone I wanted to be there! Even one of my cousins from Aussie is popping over for the weekend! Which is awesome as! TWENTY ONE! Wow! Lol, Im gonna be an old queen before I know it!
So, Im not doing a Yardie, which seems to be a bit of a NZ 21st Tradition, so Im gonna attempt 21 shots in 21 minutes, haha, key word being attempt! It surely will be an eventful night.

Especially to have mum and dad (divorced for two years) in the same room and mixing in some alcohol. Is it bad that Im looking forward to the family drama? It's probably because, having lived in the city for nine months now, and being away from the drama, it'll be nice to get a whack of home, and I mean a WHACK! When drama goes down in my family... it GOES down! Im just lucky all of my dads siblings wont be there, that'll be a whole other drama! So watch this space...
Another thing is Cam will be meeting pretty much everyone in one night, all of my co-workers, almost my entire family... poor guy! But hes big enough and gorgeous enough to handle it. Thing about being a Westie is he reminds me of home, being from a small town, hes nice'n rough around the edges, how I like em!

Anyway, my flatmate is in the mood to watch musicals! So I shall go and join her!

Over and OUT!

My Life: Starring...

Hey Guys,

So I've decided, to put faces to names! Here, in no particular order, the characters that make up my life, the show:

So this is my Auckland family. Up the top is obviously me. To the left in the pink is Merissa, to the right, shirtless, is Kerin and down the bottom is Mellise.

This is Mum, and me, before I moved up to Auckland (March 08)

This is an old one of Dad, but he very much still looks the same. (Yes, I'm a quarter Maori)

Two of the three of my sisters, left is Toria and on the right is Toni

Again, two of three of my sisters, this time introducing Renee on the left, then Toria again, and myself.Introducing Tegan, hugging Kerin.

Merissa and Teresa... bestfriends and totally gorgeous!

Gay Bragade: Me, Kerin and introducing Matty.

My gang from back home, introducing, Maree, Me, Rose and Tania.

You'll probably notice that Im missing a certain somebody... but I dont really have any pictures of him yet, but I will work on that :P. Otherwise, these are all the players in my game of life!

Over and out!

Boy Chronicles: Seven Months in Review

Hey Guys,

So a lot has happened over the last seven months on the boy front.

Introducing Kerin, 20yo, twinky and into drag. Now, FYI, Kerin lasted one month! lol... but Mellise and him clicked, and it kinda forced us into a friendship, which I love. Our relationship is ten times stronger as friends as it ever could be as an item. So Im sure you will hear about Kerin as we hang out with him and go clubbing with him alot.

There was a minor guy between Kerin and my current beau, but he's not really worth mentioning.

Insert Cameron. 31yo, maori, and totally goregous! Now, its fresh and still pretty hot from the oven, but I really like this guy!
Just to give you a bit of back story to how this came about. Now back in January I discovered Cam on NZdating and we sent each other a few emails, followed by a few txts but that was about it. We both went on our merry ways. At the same time I was digging into another boy who I thought I was pretty keen on. Long story short, I decided to cut it off with this guy because, A, I wasnt that into him, B, if I was gonna be with a guy, I wanted fireworks, and there wasnt any, and C, I just wanted to screw around. Funnily enough, the same day I decided to call it off with this guy, Cam sends me a pxt out of the blue. Heres a guy, that I havent spoken to for just under two months, and he sends me a picture of himself. So obviously this sparked up conversation. Now to be completely honest, it started out entirely about sex. But it slowly turned to civil conversation about each other. I became interested. So we decided to meet. Four days later. lol. Now obviously it went well, and its going well. Though we are not officially an item, we are exclusive. And if you don't know what that means, it means, we're only sleeping with each other, and are not interested in anyone else! We're taking it slowly!

So thats pretty much it for now!

Over and out!

Past, Present and Future: Seven Months, another 4kg and a pending 21st

Hey Guys!

Well, I tell you it has been the longest time! And sooooooo much has happened over the last seven months. Its funny looking back at the blogs I wrote when I first moved up here, the things that were going through my head. Very funny. Especially one guy. Do you remember Work Crush? Well, he is now a pretty good mate of mine. In December we got a new Customer Services person at work, Merissa. Now, Merissa and I hit it off and are best of friends now, and funnily enough, she flats with said boy. I had completely forgotten about my crush on him until I read the blog tonight.

So I have decided, because I frequent so many blogspot blogs, that I need to regular my own and update it more frequently, even at all! lol. And I even have stuff to say on the boy front, as their currently is a boy!

Another of my blogs pointed out that I had lost seven kilos from only being up here in two months, well at this point in time Im currently 76... so that means Ive lost another four kilos... dont know where its gone... its pretty crazy, but that would be a total of just under 12kilos lost, which is insane!

Now, because I havent blogged since August (or whenever it was), I completely missed summer, so Ive left you all some juicy boys with a very beachy theme! Enjoy

Oh and on another note... Im 21 in 19 days time... big party! Cant wait!

Looking forward to it!

Entertainment Plug: Mamma Mia!

Hey Guys,

Well, went to the movies again last night (third time in the last two weeks after a three month dry patch) and went to see Mamma Mia! and OMG, its fantastic! The opening scene had me turning to Mellise and saying "I LOVE THIS MOVIE"

So, growing up with a mother who adores the song "Dancing Queen," yes, I probably know too many lyrics to the ABBA Gold soundtrack, translating to knowing the songs in this movie. But, this is not the only reason as to why I enjoyed this movie. Firstly, Im a sucker for a good musical, gay stereotype, check! Secondly, the cast! It has a fantastic cast of ladies leading the way. Im not even going to mention the guys yet. Lets start with the two leads, Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, are both beautiful singers and are adorable in their roles. Seyfried (who you may know from the first season of Veronica Mars playing Lily the dead best friend), plays Sophie, a twenty-year-old bride-to-be with no clue who her father is, and in an effort to find out, she contacts three possibles and invites them all to her wedding. Seyfried has an amazing singing voice and you will fall in love with her throughout the movie, seriously, gay or straight! She is such a sweetheart and I hope to see her in more upcoming films! And hopefully she'll sing again someday!

Opposite Seyfried, is Mr Dominic Cooper (which you may remember from the film and stageshow, The History Boys) who plays Sky, Sophies husband-to-be, is totally gorgeous and just wait till he takes his shirt off! The boy can sing and act, hes pretty much perfect!

Sky and Sophie
The song sequence of "Lay All Your Love On Me" is breathe taking, and blood-pumpingly yummy! Seyfried shows her potential with the high notes and Cooper chases her around the beach with an unbuttoned shirt, seriously one of the hottest scenes in cinema!
The movie features all of your favourite ABBA hits, "Dancing Queen" "Money, Money, Money" "Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie" "SOS" "Take a Chance on Me" "Chiquitita" and more!
Just to warn you as well, you may want to take tissues! :)
This movie is fun fun fun and you must all go and see it right now! Now! NOW! :)
Then go and buy the soundtrack!

Go with the Flow!
