Past, Present and Future: TV, Radio and to be a Murderer

Hey Guys,

Now before I start, I want you all to know, I had a very good day, despite what you will read at the end of this post, I had a good day =)

Well today was a very interesting day. As I said in a previous post, South Pacific Pictures are currently filming a new TV series called "Go Girls" and that they were filming a scene at my work today. When we arrived at work today we were struck by about ten truck and trailers and a few caravans parked outside work and along the street. Work was overrun with film crew and the cast for the new series.

Just after I started work I got a phone call from the guy down at Harvey Norman and they want to have an interview with me, which will take place tomorrow morning at 9:30, so I will update you on how that goes.

Anyway, during smoko, one of the bosses at work asked us if we wanted to go downstairs and watch them do a shot. I was totally keen. So I went down and they shoved me in a corner where I wouldn't be in the way and watched the shot on the monitors. It was all very quick and intriguing, but I had to get back to work. Also got to see Angela Bloomfield, she was directing, man shes tiny!

They were finished filming by lunch time, which was stink, 'cause I was going to grab a few photos, but I missed out on that opportunity. Oh well.

The fun went on into the afternoon while I was listening to Classic Hits, Jason Reeves was doing his thing when he asked a TXT question "How much will the winner win on the series, "NEW ZEALANDS GOT TALENT"? So I sent my SMS and turned my phone onto loud so if I won, I'd hear the call. Anyway, moments later, my phone rings and its, no second guesses, Jase from the radio station. My answer of $100,000 was the first correct answer and I had won, "what?" I hear you ask. Some DVD that he said would be good to give to a special woman in my life. LOL so yea. But, still, I won something off the radio, too cool.

And now to cover the Murderer section of this blog. I was talking to a co-worker today who I work with right next to him, and have done for the passed three weeks, for 8hours a day, five days a week, so we talk about alot of things. Today, religion came up, he (we shall call him Mark) is a religious person, goes to church and does all that thing, me, Im an Atheist, but I have an open mind, but still, I dont believe everything thats written in a book. Anyway, I told him I didnt want to go into the Creation/Evolution debate and he was cool with that, but the conversation still went into beliefs and Christianity. I asked him alot of questions, "Sex before marraige?" "Drugs and Alcohol?" and the most obvious question "Whats your Churches view on Gays and Lesbians?" and Mark went on to answer something along these lines,

"Its a sin. It is no different to the sins of a murderer or a rapist. How can they say it's something they're born with when God doesn't make people murderers at birth, its a choice, its a sin"

WHAT? LOL

Now, this obviously got my blood boiling, but I had asked the question and I was prepared for the answer. I really did it more for the entertainment of the answer. I don't care what his church thinks, it doesn't change me at all. I love who I am and thats all that matters (for the record, he clearly does not know Im gay).

So yeah, thats that! Sadly my opinion on Mark as a person has changed now that I know this small piece of information, but thats fine, everyone is entitled to their own opinions, and I will make sure that I "macho" it up around him 'cause I sure as hell don't want him preaching to me!

Go with the flow!
