Entertainment Plug: Mamma Mia!

Hey Guys,

Well, went to the movies again last night (third time in the last two weeks after a three month dry patch) and went to see Mamma Mia! and OMG, its fantastic! The opening scene had me turning to Mellise and saying "I LOVE THIS MOVIE"

So, growing up with a mother who adores the song "Dancing Queen," yes, I probably know too many lyrics to the ABBA Gold soundtrack, translating to knowing the songs in this movie. But, this is not the only reason as to why I enjoyed this movie. Firstly, Im a sucker for a good musical, gay stereotype, check! Secondly, the cast! It has a fantastic cast of ladies leading the way. Im not even going to mention the guys yet. Lets start with the two leads, Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, are both beautiful singers and are adorable in their roles. Seyfried (who you may know from the first season of Veronica Mars playing Lily the dead best friend), plays Sophie, a twenty-year-old bride-to-be with no clue who her father is, and in an effort to find out, she contacts three possibles and invites them all to her wedding. Seyfried has an amazing singing voice and you will fall in love with her throughout the movie, seriously, gay or straight! She is such a sweetheart and I hope to see her in more upcoming films! And hopefully she'll sing again someday!

Opposite Seyfried, is Mr Dominic Cooper (which you may remember from the film and stageshow, The History Boys) who plays Sky, Sophies husband-to-be, is totally gorgeous and just wait till he takes his shirt off! The boy can sing and act, hes pretty much perfect!

Sky and Sophie
The song sequence of "Lay All Your Love On Me" is breathe taking, and blood-pumpingly yummy! Seyfried shows her potential with the high notes and Cooper chases her around the beach with an unbuttoned shirt, seriously one of the hottest scenes in cinema!
The movie features all of your favourite ABBA hits, "Dancing Queen" "Money, Money, Money" "Gimmie, Gimmie, Gimmie" "SOS" "Take a Chance on Me" "Chiquitita" and more!
Just to warn you as well, you may want to take tissues! :)
This movie is fun fun fun and you must all go and see it right now! Now! NOW! :)
Then go and buy the soundtrack!

Go with the Flow!
